The Geechee Empress is a 6th generation Hoodoo practitioner, rootworker, seer, spiritual midwife, and medium rooted in the Lowcountry of South Carolina — that sacred corridor of earth, water, and memory that stretches between Charleston and Beaufort, where the Gullah Geechee spirit still breathes in the marsh grass and the live oak.
She comes from a line of God-fearing women who could talk fire out of burns, lay hands on the broken, call down rain from a cloudless sky. Women who understood that prayer and rootwork were never opposites — they were the same breath, spoken in two directions. The altar on Sunday and the front porch on Monday were the same sacred ground.
She is a medium who walks between worlds. A reader who sees clearly what others cannot. A healer who knows that the body, the bloodline, and the spirit are one continuous conversation. Multifaceted. Multigifted. Multidimensional. She does not fit into a single category — because the ancestors never did either.
